What is a salon d'hiver, you ask? Well, howsabout a vocab lesson!

 

Sa·lon, n.

1. A large room, such as a drawing room, used for receiving and entertaining guests. (Check)

2. A periodic gathering of people of social or intellectual distinction. (Did you SEE January's open mic? We are a fierce bunch!) 

3. A hall or gallery for the exhibition of works of art. (Check, check, and check!)

4. A commercial establishment offering a product or service related to fashion. (Okay, we'll ignore this one)

The Centrifuge is very excited to invite you to February's Fresh Ground Pepper! On Friday, February 6th, we will be hosting a night of play readings by two incredibly talented playwrights.
